The problem with “goat milk treats” is that most of them are mostly not goat milk.

Amazon and TikTok are full of freeze-dried sticks that call themselves goat milk treats, then list goat milk powder at 60% or lower behind chicken or duck. That’s fine as a flavor carrier. It’s not what you buy a goat milk treat for.

This one is built the other way around: 70% whole New Zealand goat milk, freeze-dried with 13% rabbit and 7% fresh chicken into a crunchy, chewable stick.

Goat milk earns its place because the fat globules are smaller than cow’s milk, making it easier for cats to digest — and it naturally contains oligosaccharides and prebiotic carbohydrates that nourish beneficial gut bacteria. But the ingredient that separates this formula from every other goat milk stick on the market is lactoferrin, at 5x the concentration found in regular goat milk.

Lactoferrin is an iron-binding glycoprotein with barrier-protective, immunomodulatory, and antimicrobial activity. In kitten studies, dietary lactoferrin supplementation enhanced immune function, improved intestinal barrier integrity, and reshaped gut microbiota — with higher doses producing more pronounced benefits. We include it at 500PPM, five times the natural level, because a treat that supports the immune system and the gut lining is doing something different from a treat that just happens to contain milk.

The 8:1:1 raw recipe is the other half of the story.

Muscle meat, bone, and organ at an 8:1:1 ratio — the ancestral proportion cats are built to process. 13% frozen rabbit meat and 3% rabbit liver provide a novel, low-fat protein source; 7% fresh chicken meat and 3% chicken cartilage round out the amino acid and joint-support profile. The formula reaches ≥60% crude protein and ≥5% crude fat on a dry matter basis, a density that puts it alongside freeze-dried raw complete foods, not typical “treats.”

Why 20 × 2g packs matters.

A 2g stick is a clean single-serve reward. Tear one pack, feed it directly as a training reward, crumble it over food as a topper, or soak it in warm water to make a creamy milk paste for hydration. No open bag going stale in the pantry, no guessing how much to feed, no cross-contamination between cats. For multi-cat homes and treat-dispensing routines, it’s the format that actually gets used.
