Partner Rabbit & Mulberries Adult Cat Food – Novel Protein, Mulberry + Konjac for Hairball & Digestion, Salmon & Fish Oil for Coat, 2kg

Instinct LID gives you rabbit at 35% protein — gentle, but built for allergy avoidance, not hairball support. Hill's and Royal Canin give you hairball control at 32–34% protein — but the fiber comes from whole grain wheat and powdered cellulose. Partner Rabbit & Mulberries sits in the middle: rabbit as a novel protein, plus 3% mulberries and 0.5% konjac powder for digestive motility and hairball passage, plus salmon and fish oil for a glossy coat. Gentle on the stomach. Active on the hairball. Built for the adult cat that needs both.

The hairball food category and the novel-protein category rarely talk to each other.

On one side, rabbit-based foods like Instinct LID run about 35% protein and are built around one animal protein and one vegetable — gentle, but not designed to actively manage hairball passage. On the other side, mainstream hairball formulas from Hill's and Royal Canin run 32–34% protein and rely on whole grain wheat, corn, and powdered cellulose to push hair through the gut — the fiber does its job, but the protein density and ingredient base are a different philosophy.

Partner Rabbit & Mulberries is built to close that gap.

Rabbit is the first protein source at 26%, supported by chicken meal at 10.5%. Rabbit is a novel protein — one that many cats have limited exposure to, which makes it a first-line choice when common proteins have triggered sensitivities or digestive upset. It is lean, highly digestible, and gentle on the stomach without sacrificing palatability.

The hairball and digestive support comes from mulberries and konjac, not from wheat and cellulose.

3% mulberries bring naturally occurring organic acids that support healthy digestion, plus antioxidant polyphenols. 0.5% konjac powder — a natural dietary fiber — supports gastrointestinal motility and the natural elimination of hairballs. This is a different mechanism from the powdered cellulose and whole grain wheat used in mainstream hairball formulas: the fiber source is a functional botanical inclusion at a small, targeted dose, not a bulk filler replacing meat.

The coat support is built on salmon and fish oil.

Salmon and fish oil supply Omega-3 fatty acids, while egg yolk powder adds lecithin and unsaturated fatty acids — the combination supports a glossy, radiant coat and a healthy skin barrier. This matters because rabbit, while lean and gentle, is not a primary coat-health ingredient on its own. The formula closes that gap with marine Omega-3s and lecithin.

Complete and balanced for adult cats, with taurine and L-lysine.

The formula includes taurine, L-lysine, and a full vitamin-mineral complex (A, C, D3, E, B-complex) to meet the nutritional requirements of adult maintenance. A 15-day transition guide is included because the rabbit base and functional botanical inclusions deserve a gradual introduction.
